A skeleton with a Condom on its Head.

A couple of months ago I came across a quote that said that one of the famous coaches for distance runners said that he wanted his team to look like "Skeletons with Condoms on their Heads" (not the exact quote). I mentioned this to a friend who also gets a fair amount of exercise and we laughed.

This is my goal.

The great thing with distance running is that it doesn't really bulk you up. I kickstarted my weightloss by running again -- which was awesome.

Lately though, I've been eating like a FIEND. It's been stress, and PMS, that's been getting me -- and while I'm not gaining weight (because I run) -- I'm not losing anymore either -- which annoys me.

Tomorrow I want to get back on track. I'm going to go vegetarian for a week or so I think -- just to regain control of my foods and stuff....

My friend says that I'm going to waste away if I don't start lifting weights to counter the loss of muscle tissue that comes with endurance running (not that I'm there yet -- but eventually) ----- me, I'm not ready yet. I want to be long and lean before I purposely begin to bulk up again.

Tomorrow I'm going to run a short 3k in the morning when I get up. Hopefully that will kickstart the plan again.
